Mike Casey to retire

Mike Casey, leader of the Corinthian Charity Group has indicated a wish to step down from that position due to on going health problems.

He recently suffered a heart attack, which at this time is unresolved and will be undergoing treatment for some time.

I wish to place on record my thanks to him for his sterling contribution to our Charity Group system and his pro-active work with the Corinthian Group.

Many of the petitions put forward by Mike were of a community nature and I particularly remember the support by the charities to the Junior Beekeepers at Lytham Hall which was a perfect demonstration of the help the Mark Charities can make to such causes.

Mike has informed me that he is definitely not going “ out to grass” and will be returning as a pro active member of his Lodge and the Province when his health is restored.

Best wishes to him and Mark Well.
